In fact, there are quite a few celebrities who share these characteristics, yet there is no clear indication that they suffer from any physical or mental ailments. Some even consider the effect to be enchanting. The condition of yin sanpaku eyes is not as uncommon as one might think. The individual who is most often referred to in support of this theory is the convicted serial killer Charles Manson, who has very prominent yang sanpaku. An individual with this condition is thought to have a serious emotional and mental imbalance that could cause severe mood swings and angry outbursts and demonstrate aggressive or dangerous behavior. In the more rare case of yang sanpaku eyes, many practitioners of Oriental and homeopathic medicine believe this condition is an indication of erratic and violent behavior. It is most severe among those who are gravely ill and approaching death. Three whites, or sanpaku, is common among those w ho are ill or exhausted. In Oriental Medicine, such an appearance is called sanpaku, which means “three whites” showing. When a person dies, the iris rises so that it partially disappears under the upper eyelid. They may have poor intuition and an inability to assess situations and other people properly. If a person shows three whites then there’s a strong indication that their nervous system is seriously imbalanced and that their mind, body and spirit or out of balance. A yin sanpaku is when the white (sclera) is visible below the iris, which is quite common among drug addicts. Generally there are two types of sanpaku eyes. While there is no scientific evidence or research to prove the theory of sanpaku eyes, it has been observed in famous and infamous celebrities. Sanpaku is a shortening of a Japanese word, sanpakugan, and it that to “three whites” of the sclera of the eye. The baby is alert and in generally sound health. This indicates a balanced and healthy nervous system. The sclera is visible only to the left and right of the iris. It touches the upper and lower lids, and no white, or sclera, shows above or below. In a healthy newborn baby, the iris, or colored part of the eye, is usually balanced between the upper and lower eye lids.
